Stark white backgrounds, black borders and high contrast black & white subjects, make up the anatomy of an Avedon photograph. Photographer, Richard Avedon understood the complexity of the face and the simplicity of a clean composition.

This book utilizes his style as a design element to showcase his various photographic ideologies and approaches. It includes my own photography work which was inspired by his style and creative thinking. All copy in the book was also written by me.
